Are you covered if your child suffers a major medical trauma?

What happens if your child is diagnosed with a disease or medical condition?  You can't continue to work!  How do you pay your bills when you are taking care of your child?

  • Child trauma insurance can be included as an optional benefit to a life insurance policy (but you cannot purchase child trauma insurance on its own).
  • The initial maximum insured benefit is $200,000 (and indexed each year to keep pace with inflation).
  • The cost of child trauma insurance is approximately $200 per year.

Still not convinced?  Please watch this video from AIA Life which explains (from an actual claimant) what child trauma is and how it can be a valuable type of cover if your child suffers a major medical trauma.  Grab the tissues!
